Synopsis: A series of mysterious murders has terrified people in Luoyang City. The victims were usually a male and a female couple, and the murderer worked in stealth, leaving no trace. A rumor spread among the people that this was divine punishment for the empress's promiscuity. Officials suggested that Di Renjie be put in charge of the case.
