Jake Ellis recites "Sailor's Rest" by United States Navy Veteran David. R. Block.  To me this poem captures the true power of the water.  Although never a sailor myself, I was fortunate to live by the Atlantic Ocean for a few years.  My home at that time was on Willoughby Spit in Norfolk, Virginia.  Naval Station Norfolk is the world's largest naval base.  It was a true pleasure to watch the ships and aircraft pass by my window while listening to the water crashing on the sand.  It is true that where the sea meets the shoreline is both the end and the beginning of the world.
