"Passing Through: The Grand Junction Canal in West Hertfordshire, 1791–1841" by Fabian Hiscock, published by UH Press, was recently announced as the Railway and Canal Historical Society’s Canal Book of the Year for 2020. Fabian completed his MA by Research in History at the University of Hertfordshire in 2016. His research for that degree formed the basis of this wonderfully written book. Fabian agreed to be interviewed for a short film about his research.
