Returning to King of the Dot for the second time, Protege is coming off of one of the most impressive debuts from WD2. After surprising everyone against Diaz, the Filipino emcee is back again by popular demand, taking on a challenger of a higher caliber. Having displayed his superior wit and creativity paired with a unique flow and delivery, Protege will need every weapon in his arsenal to match up against this years opponent: Rone. In a battle sure to be one of the most highly viewed of the event, can Protege bring back his momentum from last year and win over the crowd again? Or will he be one of many to fall to Rone?
Currently on a vicious killing streak, Rone is back after a brief hiatus following his most prolific match to date against Okwerdz. Coming off such a strong showing, Rone will be hard pressed to live up to the hype he has created for himself, but intends to do exactly that in this WD3 matchup against Protege. The Philadelphia native is known for his unique approaches to battles, combining unusual yet intelligent material with his patented delivery, resulting in a deadly battle style that now holds Protege in the crosshairs. Who will emerge victorious from the battle?
