Cocody, is a suburb of and one of the 10 urban communes of Abidjan, Ivory Coast. It is upmarket and has an abundance of mansions. Cocody is where most of the wealthy businesspeople, ambassadors, and other affluent people live in Abidjan. The Université Félix Houphouët-Boigny is located in Cocody.

It is one of the 10 urban communes of the city.The Plateau is surrounded by the municipality of Yopougon to the west, to the south by the Ébrié Lagoon. Nicknamed by some the "Little Paris" or "Little Manhattan", the Plateau with its towers and buildings overlooks the Ébrié Lagoon. Since the creation of the railway district, to accommodate the terminus of the Abidjan-Niger railway line, the Plateau has rapidly developed to become the administrative, commercial and financial center of Côte d'Ivoire, and holds an important place in West Africa.
There is also the Félix Houphouët-Boigny stadium and the cathédrale Saint-Paul.
One of its amazing features is to welcome thousands of bats after dark, which gather above the lagoon to hunt mosquitoes and other insects.
Le Plateau est une des communes de la ville d'Abidjan, elle est entourée par la commune de Yopougon à l'ouest, au sud par la lagune Ébrié, la commune de Treichville. En tant que quartier d'affaires, il rassemble la majeure partie des activités administratives et commerciales de la ville. La plupart des grandes firmes ivoiriennes ont leur siège social au Plateau. Il est également doté d'un marché très animé.
Surnommé par certains le petit Paris ou petit Manhattan, le Plateau avec ses tours et ses immeubles surplombe la lagune Ébrié. Depuis la création du quartier ferroviaire, pour accueillir le terminus de la ligne de chemin de fer Abidjan-Niger, le Plateau s'est rapidement développé pour devenir le centre administratif, commercial et financier de la Côte d'Ivoire, et détient une place importante dans l'Afrique de l'Ouest.
