روز ۲۶ ماه مه ۲۰۲۲ ساعت ۸:۳۰ شب ما (تلویزیون من و تو) در برنامه - Omid AM - مصاحبه‌ای را با آقای ایرج مصداقی پخش تلویزیونی کردیم. یکی از بینندگان در تماس تلفنی پرسشی درباره نقش دکتر کاوه موسوی در محاکمه آقای حمید نوری در سوئد مطرح کرد.
آقای ایرج مصداقی به پرسش این بیننده با بیان اظهاراتی پاسخ داد. برخی از این اظهارات درباره دکتر موسوی غیرمنصفانه، گمراه کننده یا نادرست بودند. تلویزیون منوتو مایل است این اظهارات را تصحیح کند تا اطمینان حاصل شود که ما تصویر منصفانه و دقیقی از دکتر موسوی ارائه داده‌ایم.
دکتر موسوی در سال ۱۹۷۸ به عضویت کانون وکلا در آمد . او یک حقوقدان دانشگاه بسیار معتبر و متخصص علوم سیاسی است: بین سال‌های ۲۰۰۳ تا ۲۰۰۹ او در دانشکده حقوق دانشگاه آکسفورد Faculty of Law سمت رياست "Public Interest Law" ، حقوق منافع عمومي در مرکز مطالعات اجتمایی - حقوقی دانشکده حقوق دانشگاه آکسفورد را داشت و بنیانگذار برنامه حقوق عمومی دانشکده حقوق دانشگاه آکسفورد بود كه از دل آن برنامه مشاوره رايگان pro bono publico درآمد. پس از استعفا از اين مقام در سال ٢٠٠٩ دكتر موسوي در دانشكده حقوق بعنوان عضو پژوهشی تا سال ٢٠١٥ حضور داشت . ايشان هنوز عضو دائمي Wolfson College دانشگاه آكسفورد هستند. دكتر موسوي در حال حاضر در دو دیوان داوری بین المللی; ديوان داوري بين المللي پاریس و ديوان داوري بين المللي لندن، داوربين الملل هستند.

اظهارات غیرمنصفانه، گمراه‌کننده و غیرواقعی آقای مصداقی در مورد دکتر موسوی باعث آزار و اذیت شده و بدون اصلاح می‌توانست به اعتبار دکتر موسوی صدمه بزند. ما متاسفیم که این اظهارات در تلویزیون منوتو مطرح شده است و در این زمینه از دکتر موسوی عذرخواهی بی‌دریغ می‌کنیم.
“On 26 May 2022, at 8:30pm, we (Manoto TV) broadcast on a live show - Omid AM - an interview with Mr Iraj Mesdaghi. A caller to the show asked after the role of Dr Kaveh Moussavi in the prosecution of Mr Hamid Noury in Sweden.
Mr Mesdaghi responded to the caller’s enquiry with a number of statements. Certain of those statements made about Dr Moussavi were unfair, misleading or untrue. Manoto TV wishes to correct those statements to ensure that we have published a fair and accurate portrayal of Dr Moussavi.
Dr Moussavi qualified at the Iranian Bar in 1978. He is a highly respected academic lawyer and political scientist: between 2003 to 2009 he was the Head of Public Interest Law at the Centre for Socio-Legal Studies in the Faculty of Law at the University of Oxford and was the founder of the Law Faculty’s Public Interest Law programme at the University of Oxford in which "Oxford Pro Bono Publico" was created with the aim of providing free legal consultation.
After resigning from this position in 2009 Dr Moussavi remained an associate researcher at the faculty of law until 2015. He is a current member of Wolfson College, University of Oxford. Dr Moussavi also sits as an international arbitrator for two of the leading international arbitral bodies: the International Court of Arbitration in Paris and the London Court of International Arbitration.
The broadcast conversation included statements to the effect that Dr Moussavi had little or no role in the trial of Hamid Noury in Sweden. We note that judgment has not yet been handed down in those proceedings. We therefore do not propose to comment on the trial. However, we are able to correct the record as to Dr Moussavi’s contribution to those proceedings. We can confirm that statements made on our show in this respect by Iraj Mesdaghi in this respect were untrue. Manoto TV has independently investigated and has obtained evidence of Dr Moussavi’s instrumental role in having the case filed and brought to trial, including among other things the instruction of solicitors to file the complaint, the provision of substantial legal advice to enable the legal team to prepare its case, was present at the Swedish prosecutor's office upon their request, providing them with information, and legal advice and consultation to assist the Swedish prosecutors.
Mr Mesdaghi’s unfair, misleading and untrue statements about Dr Moussavi caused offence and hurt and, without correction, could have caused undeserved reputational harm to Dr Moussavi. We regret that these comments were made on Manoto TV and we apologise to Dr Moussavi unreservedly in this regard.”
