Waimoku Falls off the Pipiwai Trail in the Kipahulu region of Haleakala National Park. I estimate the falls are probably between 400 and 500 feet high. See tips on hiking the Pipiwai Trail to Waimoku Falls: http://www.govisithawaii.com/2011/10/...
To see Waimoku Falls, you pick up the trail head from just above the parking lot of Haleakala National Park's Kipahulu area. From there, you hike 2 miles up through forest and bamboo, cross through (and in) two streams up to the base of Waimoku Falls. It's a pretty challenging hike, but not too strenuous.
