Learn more about Caribbean Craft and their papier mache art from founders Joel and Magalie Dresse in this west elm video.

Joel and Magalie founded Caribbean Craft to teach papier mache art and provide job opportunities to the local community in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Local artisans create an array of papier mache sculptures, including those offered by west elm. Each artist's personality is reflected in his or her work so every sculpture is a one-of-a-kind accessory for your home.

In addition to teaching them papier mache art, Joel and Magalie also support the artisans personally. They created a meal program for their employees, feeding nearly 350 people daily, and they've partnered with Aid to Artisans to market their creations. A portion of west elm's sales of Caribbean Craft's papier mache art goes to the HAND/EYE fund, which supports the meal program.

Caribbean Craft's unique papier mache art is the perfect global addition to your decor. Support a good cause and enhance your home's look - a true win-win.
