Is water in your fuel causing your small engine equipment to fail?  Do fuel additives really work?  Over 50% of carburetors I pull off have water in them. Check out this video to see if 4 of the most common fuel additives truly work - STP, Seafoam, Methyl Hydrate and K-100.

All 4 of these products claim to reduce or remove water or moisture from your gas. Let's see if this stuff works.

Why do you care? Water or condensation causes rust.  The rust could eventually cause your carb to plug up and the engine will not start.  This could get costly.

Warning: do not use methyl hydrate in a 2 stroke 2 cycle engine  (such as your chainsaw or weedeater) where you mix gas and oil.  I'll explain why.

Remember: water in your engine is a symptom. Why is there water in your fuel in the first place?
