In this Microsoft Access tutorial, I'm going to teach you how to make a button to open a table to a specific record using the FindRecord command and 2 lines of VBA code.
Carter from Westminster, California (a Gold Member) asks: Sometimes, as a developer, I want to make myself a button here and there to just open up a table and go to a specific record. It's not something that I would give my end users, because I know you say not to let them work with anything but forms, but sometimes, just for me, this makes my job easier. Like, if I want to edit a product and I don't want to set up a full product form, that kind of thing. I've got a lot of supplemental tables where I don't necessarily want to have to build forms for them all.
