Head to toe assessments do
Head to toe assessments do not need to be 45 minutes long like what you learn in nursing school. That simply is not plausible when you are taking care of a 6 patient assignment and have to give meds, chart, ambulate, and toilet your patients for the day.
In this video you will learn about the steps of a head to toe assessment that can shorten the length you assess without taking away the quality of the assessment.
