We had a free day while in Bangkok so we decided to check out Bang Krachao (Bang Kachao) - Bangkok's Green Lung! We'd heard of this 'island in the middle of Bangkok', but we'd never been. We weren't sure how there was an island in the middle of this huge city...but the Green Lung did not disappoint!!! This is such an amazing little get away from the city! It's perfect for both a little day trip as well as a weekend getaway without having to travel far! It you want to stay overnight, check out https://www.agoda.com/partners/partne... which is the most popular place to stay on Bang Krachao (although not the only option - see our blog post for more)! It's so fun to rent a bike and explore this little island! Both on the main roads as well as the little paths over the water that Bang Krachao has become known for! It also has a floating market (although it's really a market next to little rivers).
