What’s happening in this Big Daddy movie clip?
Sonny (Adam Sandler from Grown Ups and Click) goes to Vanessa’s (Kristy Swanson who starred in the movie Buffy The Vampire Slayer) place to introduce her to Julian. He tells her that he adopted him and that he is therefore their son. Sonny hears a noise coming from the toilet and thinks that someone is there and that this is Vanessa's lover. So he knocks on the door and a middle-aged man opens the door for him. Seeing him, Sonny is reassured and tells him that he thought Vanessa was cheating on him. The man, Sid, tells her that he is, indeed, sleeping with her. What Vanessa loves about Sid is that he is ambitious, unlike Sonny. In shock, Sonny confesses that he adopted Julian only to show Vanessa he could be responsible.

What’s the movie Big Daddy about?
Thirty-two-year-old Sonny Koufax (Adam Sandler from Grown Ups and Click), an irresponsible and lazy law school graduate, has spent his whole life avoiding responsibility. But when Vanessa (Kristy Swanson who starred in the movie Buffy The Vampire Slayer), his girlfriend, leaves him for someone else who has his life on track, Sonny wants to find a way to prove he’s ready to grow up. He adopts Julian (Cole and Dylan Sprouse from Friends), a five-year-old boy. However, Vanessa is not impressed and still does not want to be with Sonny. The problem is: he can’t return the kid.
Sonny now needs to assume his responsibilities and take care of Julian. The two of them start to genuinely bond.
