How To Trap Summer In A Sketchbook

The end of summer draws nigh, and even though the weather wasn't kind to us in Ireland this year - it never really warmed up - at least I have some beautiful memories of summer in my sketchbook. I'll go further: because we usually sketch outdoors on a nice day, you'll definitely skew your memories towards the better days if you keep a sketchbook! And that's before you add fun things like family visits, peaceful moments at home with your kids who are away during term time, and special family celebrations. I love my SketchPocket because it's always to hand. In fact I'm going to add a less-fancy sketchbook to the bag because I want to start a new project that's a bit different to my on-location sketching, and I know I am far more likely to get to it if my kit is always nearby.
