As one of the most popular ways to read PDF (portable document format) files, the Adobe Reader is on almost all Windows-based computers, which makes it a big target for hackers and virus-makers who are always looking for program flaws that will help them exploit your computer.
The good news is, Adobe is responsive to security threats and typically releases updates on a timely basis. In fact, it sometimes seems like they come out with an update version almost every day (even though they really don't).
And although you probably have the Adobe Reader set to automatically do updates, in this video I show you how to check and make sure you have the latest version and how you can easily do updates yourself manually.
