From the latest in goomba architecture - I bring to you the goomba ladder! The goomba ladder is composed of several goomba clones in a vertical line. For the record, I used exactly 27 goombas. With this structure, I'm able to climb up the ladder by consecutively bouncing on each goomba rung.
To make sure the goombas were all perfectly aligned laterally, I simply left the HOLP in a single spot, then (using the hat-in-hand glitch) released several goomba clones at incremental heights. That way, they would all appear in the same spot laterally, but I could easily control each one's height.
I originally conceived of the idea for a goomba ladder back when I was doing the ABC challenge. However, there turned out to be no practical use for it, and so it went unused and thus unseen. Consequently, I decided to make a video about it to show it off!
The song used is We Like To Party (Six Flags Theme Song) by the Vengaboys.
