Tripoli is the vibrant capital of #Arcadia, situated in the heart of the historic region of the Peloponnese. It lies 158 km southwest of #Athens and 81 km from #Corinth. It has 44000 permanent residents and is built at an altitude of 650 m. Under the Ottoman rule, Tripoliçe, was one of the administrative centers in the #Morea Eyalet. After the war, Tripoli was renamed, rebuilt and was developed as one of the main cities of the #Kingdom of Greece.
