Hey everyone! In this tutorial
Hey everyone! In this tutorial I will show you how to create 17 basic quilling shapes and get you started on your quilling adventures. This is the first video in a series of tutorials which will hopefully give you all the basics you need to create more advanced quilling projects. Let me know down in the comments if you want a certain shape discussed in more detail.
The shapes you can see in this video are the following:
1. Tight rolled coil
2. Loose coil / Loose circle / Loose scroll
3. Oval coil
4. Open coil
5. Open Marquise / Eye
6. Closed Marquise / Eye
7. Teardrop
8. Bent teardrop / Wing / Petal / Feather / Flame / Peacock Eye / Raindrop / Drop
9. Shaped teardrop
10. Curved teardrop
11. Square
12. Curved square
13. Rectangle
14. Diamond
15. Slug / Leaf / Marquise with double curved ends / Bent Eye / Double curved Marquise / Curved Petal / Shaped Marquise
16. Single curved Marquise / Marquise with single curved end
17. Angled Marquise
Things You Need:
- Quilling Slotted Tool
- Paper Strips
- Glue
- Optional - Template tool - My fiance 3D printed one for me and you can get the 3d model by clicking the link below:
