First you need to get
First you need to get your Chromebook into developer mode there's plenty of video on youtube for that and remove the write protection screws. https://mrchromebox.tech/#devmode
Why Install uefi full bios
Install
1. After getting the Chrombook into recovery mode and removing the write protection screw / screws
2. Install curl the enter cd; curl -LO https://mrchromebox.tech/firmware-uti... && sudo bash firmware-util.sh
3. Pick option 3 ( Install / Updata Full ROM Firmware )
4. Delete all partitions / create partitions for efi or the fedora default setup.
After install
1. fix the chrombook buttons the function keys.

2. Install libva-intel-driver for hardware video encoder.
3. install gnome-screensaver
UEFI firmware on ChromeOS devices offers many benefits over the older Legacy BIOS offerings:
Integrated firmware updates for the ChromeOS EC (Embedded Controller)
Better Windows support and faster Windows boot time (50%+ faster)
Full working HDMI audio under Windows, without any special drivers or hackery
