How to create email templates in Apple Mail

UPDATE: This process works in the latest macOS, Sonoma!

Here's an easy way to create email templates in the latest version of Apple Mail in macOS (including Mojave, Catalina, and earlier 10.x versions). This way is even better than my old way of using Stationery, which Apple removed from the Mail app in macOS Mojave. This process will work with ANY version of Apple Mail.

IMPORTANT: Apparently dragging and dropping the message only works with iCloud mail. Gmail or others may experience issues with their messages disappearing, but there's a fix! Just right-click and use the "Move to" option instead of dragging and dropping the message into the Templates folder. I've tested this with my Gmail and Outlook accounts and it works great!
