Gone are the days when you need to flip down your welding mask but with the advent of auto darkening technology you also need to be sure that your welding helmet is working as it should be .So all you need is a TV remote control point it towards your helmet and push any of the buttons and you should see your helmet auto darken with out looking into dangerous ultraviolet (UV) radiation released by a welding arc.
