We expect the Bloemfontein High Court to be alive with activity as a 51-year-old man is set to appear before the court. He faces a charge of assisting an inmate escape from lawful custody as well as defeating the ends of justice.
While the G4S employee makes his first appearance today, the rest of the accused are expected back in court on May 3, exactly a year since Bester staged his elaborate escape.
