How to use Dual Kama against the Katana

"Kama" is the Japanese word for sickle.
"Nicho gama" refers to 2 sickles.
Originally a farming tool, the Kama can be improvised as a fighting weapon for self-defense. In some Kenjutsu (Samurai swordsmanship) schools in Japan, they do teach how to use the Kama as a weapon as well. The hooked blade of the Kama is ideal for attacking at unexpected angles, and also for restraining the opponent.
This video demonstrates the "Chudan no Kamae", or Middle Guard Stance using 2 Kama, as well as 1 simple technique for attacking or restraining the opponent's hand.
