What are AMC charges in General?
The fee one has to give in exchange for the services one gets is called AMC charges. Now these AMC charges can be for anything like for debit card maintenance, debit card replacement, some pending charges or more. It is hard to tell every charge for the services particularly but do know that it starts from about Rs 100 and remains within Rs 1,000 as per the services provided. The AMC charges in banks vary from one bank to another or from one service to another so do ask about these charges forehand.
What are Flexi Loan AMC charges?
An annual maintenance charge (AMC) is a nominal fee charged as per the terms and conditions mentioned in your loan agreement.
These charges are levied every year to keep your Flexi Loan account active and provide you with additional services such as:
• Multiple withdrawals from your available loan limit.
• Part-prepayment of your loan when you want without paying any additional charges
When and how can I pay the annual maintenance charges?
The annual maintenance charges (AMC) for the Flexi Loan account are to be paid as per rates prescribed in your loan agreement. With effect from April ‘23, the AMC will be adjusted from your utilized Flexi Loan limit.
However, for the convenience of the customer, the Flexi Loan limit will be increased as much as the AMC to allow them to withdraw the maximum amount as per their sanction.
If your Flexi Loan limit is not available, the Bank or NBFC will recover the dues from your registered bank account through ECS or NACH facility, as the case may be.
Steps to pay Flexi Loan annual maintenance charge (AMC)
For the convenience of customers, AMC will be adjusted from the unutilized Flexi Loan limit with effect from April ‘23. To ensure that you can still make the most out of your total sanction, it will be increased according to the AMC. In the absence of funds in your available Flexi Loan limit, Bajaj Finance will recover dues from your registered bank account through NACH facility, as the case may be.

What are AMC charges in Demat accounts?
For the services they provide, brokerage firms and depository participants (DPs) impose Demat account maintenance charges (AMC). AMCs range in price from Rs 300 to Rs 900 and can be paid as a one-time fee or on a regular basis. AMC Demat prices are frequently eliminated for the first year in order for DPs to acquire new customers. When you open a Demat account with a bank, it frequently includes both a trading and a bank account. In this case, the AMC is significantly lower. If a Demat account with one bank is linked to a savings account with another, the AMC charge will be higher.
Facts about AMC Charges:
1) The account will be locked and you will not be able to manage it until you make the deposit to clear the remaining balance.
2) The account will keep going up year after year until you are able to complete the payment and clear the remaining balance.
3) Your AMC should be paid off as soon as feasible. It’s a good idea to close your account if you don’t use it anymore.
4) You are required to pay annual maintenance expenses even if your account is inactive.
What happens if I don't pay AMC charges?
If you still don't pay the AMC then after some time, your Account will become inactive. In that case, you cannot perform any kind of transaction until you pay the balance AMC and reactivate your Account.
