First Look: Audi Q6 e-tron - Specs, Features & More

Upon its arrival next year, the new Audi Q6 e-tron should be a highly-competitive product capable of taking on fellow German heavyweights such as the BMW iX and Porsche Macan Electric, along with the upcoming Polestar 4. Audi’s new electric SUV will be based on the Porsche co-developed 800-volt Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture, which is capable of handling fast charging up to 270 kW. Expect entry-level variants to be powered by a single rear-mounted e-motor, while higher variants will house twin e-motors.

Volkswagen Group CEO, Oliver Blume, told German publication Handelsblatt that the Audi Q6 e-tron’s timeline for launch is 2024. Meanwhile, we are expecting the new luxury electric SUV range to come stateside later the same year with a starting price tag of around USD 70,000-80,000. The Q6 e-tron’s maximum range is expected to be about 373 miles in the WLPT test cycle.
