Cat Island Specks to Biloxi Flounder: A Gulf Coast Adventure!

Hey everyone! Today, I set out in my 24ft Bay boat from Biloxi with hopes of targeting some speckled trout around Cat Island. The plan was to explore the beautiful waters and showcase the stunning scenery, but Mother Nature had other plans! Strong winds and choppy waves forced us to change our course. Instead of battling the elements, we decided to head back to Biloxi and try our luck at the rock jetties. Surprisingly, the flounder were biting! We caught some decent-sized fish and had a great time. Things got a little too exciting when I nearly ran my boat into the jetties while retying my bait – talk about a close call!
