First Angle Projected Orthographic Views

This video is called “First Angle Projected Orthographic Views.” It is the 20th video in the Engineering Design, Modeling and Graphics series, and is brought to you by http://www.cadmodelinghub.com/. This video instructs new and aspiring mechanical engineers, aerospace engineers, and automotive engineers on the proper procedures for the creation of first angle projected orthographic views. This style of view projection is used by most of the engineering world outside the United States and Canada. This drafting view projection method is defined by the ISO modeling and drafting standard and is used by major aerospace engineering and mechanical engineering firms.  Engineers and designers use computer-aided design (CAD), sometimes referred to as 3D CAD, systems to accurately create 3D Designs and to simulate 3D products; however it is the creation of correct and accurate engineering drawings using either ISO first angle projection or ASME third angle projection that allows manufacturers to correctly interpret the design’s working drawings. This video introduces how to create drawing views using first angle projection.
