how did they become the 21 trio in my au?
ever since giyuu wanted to be friends with sanemi, their master( who is half blind and alive in my au after the defeat of muzan) sended them both on a mission and he even added obanai along as well.
at first, they didn't like that idea, but for a while, they decided to talk a bit when giyuu went ahead of them during patrol. obanai pointed it out and realized that he never had a lot of friends after rengoku passing, so they decided to be friends with him. they shared a lot of things, including their past. When obanai shared his past, giyuu and sanemi were petrified to hear tha5. they laughed, talked a bit, and they thought on a name together, and they thought of the 21 trip since they were all the same age.
how did they die?
after killing a royal kizukis, their bodies were found in a meadow field. one of the Kakashis found them, and some other Kakashi rushed over to them. they were already on the brink of death, but before they died, their final words left them heartbroken.
sanemi last words: "Please...please tell my brother..that I've always cared for him.."
obanai last words: "Maybe in another life...I'll be able to have a good childhood.."
tomioka last words: "I'm sorry sabito.. that I couldn't save you that day... please forgive me..."

on their patrol, they stumbled upon a royal kizuki, upper 5. they went into battle, and they were only 5 hours left until sunrise, and they've been fighting for hours. they were heavily injured, and before they managed to kill them, they decided to kill them in a meadow field since the sun was coming up. they put all their strength together and got them to the field to burn them so that way, they can behead them. they defeated a royal kizuki, but at the cost of their life...
why were they in a white void?
in this universe, when you die, you'll end up in a white void. if you keep walking straight based off what direction your faced at, you have to walk in that direction in order to end up what landscape you get in heaven.
