Secunderabad-Tirupati Vande Bharat Express, south
Secunderabad-Tirupati Vande Bharat Express, south India's 4th and India's 13th such train, will start its commercial
run from 9th April (Sunday), though it will be flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday.
With an average speed of 77.73 kmph on this route, the Hyderabad-Tirupati Vande Bharat train will have
halts at Nalgonda, Guntur, Ongole and Nellore stations.
It will start from Secunderabad railway station at 6 AM and reach Tirupati at 12.30 Pm and the return journey
will start from 15:15 Pm from Tirupati and it willl reach Secunderabad at 23:45 .
The train connecting Secunderabad to Tirupati will be the second Vande Bharat train that will be serving the
Telugu states after the one that operates between Secunderabad and Vizag. Moreover, two more Vande Bharat
trains are being planned fot Hyderabad- one between Kacheguda in Hyderabad and Bengaluru and another between
Secunderabad and Pune.
Secunderabad to Tirupati Vande Bharat Express train is expected to complete the 660-kilometre journey between
the two cites, which usually takes more than 11 hours, in less than nine hours
