The progress of 75 percent
The progress of 75 percent of the solar power generation project, near the Naglo dam in Sarobi district of Kabul province. This project has the capacity to produce 10 megawatts of electricity.
Officials of the Ministry of Energy and Water, in a program held on this occasion, say that with the completion of this project, the electricity problems of many residents of Kabul and Nangarhar will be solved.
Abdul Latif Mansour, Acting Minister of Energy and Water, says that this ministry gives priority to energy development. He adds: "In terms of importance, the development of energy is in the work priorities of the Afghan government, and now the field of investment in this sector is also available in every respect."
Meanwhile, the officials of the Economic Deputy Office of the Prime Minister's Office say that this project will be completed by the private sector within one year at a cost of 700 million Afghanis.
Solar energy is the energy that reaches the earth from sunlight and can be used to generate electricity, heat water and air, produce hydrogen and other energy applications. This type of energy is one of the sources of renewable energy that is produced during the day in a stable and continuous manner through sunlight and does not cause any pollution or damage to the environment.
