A number of folk (Bill, LPL, Helpful Lockpicker, and even me in the past) have put up videos about these 2-in-1 picks made by the Lishi company (there are actually TWO competing "Lishi" companies... see Tony's video about that here: Genuine Lishi vs Original Lishi - My ...) and sung their praises.


But what about these tools is so revolutionary from a learning perspective?  That's what I'm demonstrating in this video.  These tools not only help people of all skill levels to open challenging locks, but they also help people to understand what is going on inside of a lock while they manipulate the pins.  Specifically: Lishi 2-in-1 tools can help you visualize and understand the phenomenon known as "set bounce" that can be felt with the tip of a pick tool in specific chambers.


These tools can be a tremendous aid to someone of intro level skill but they don't hinder that person from developing more advanced level skill later on.  In fact, Lishi 2-in-1 picks can help people on that very journey.
