Metal Shark Passenger Vessels 2017

Metal Shark is capping off a banner year in the passenger vessel market, having celebrated a total of eight on-time passenger vessel deliveries during the course of 2017. Between April and June, Metal Shark delivered all six of its NYC Ferries, all on or ahead of schedule, with an average production timeframe of less than ten months. In September, Metal Shark completed its first two passenger vessels for the Potomac Riverboat Company division of Entertainment Cruises. The construction of “Potomac Taxi I and II” commenced in March and entered service in October. Production time from keel laying to delivery and acceptance was less than seven months. "Potomac Taxi III and IV" are currently under construction along with additional vessels for NYC Ferry operator Hornblower and also the New Orleans Regional Transit Authority, all of which will deliver in 2018.
