NOTE: Sublimation is the opposite of what I say in the video (solid to gas)! The correct term for going from a gas to a solid is deposition. Sublimation of sulfur occurs when the sulfur produced from volcanoes is turned into a gas because of the high surrounding temperatures and energy, which then can later be deposited again in a purer form called sublimed sulfur. This is a very specific process that only accounts for a small portion of minerals formed. Sorry for any confusion this might have caused, and thanks so much to the viewer who corrected me and helped to make this a more accurate resource!
