Xiao Zhan: the superstar actor who plays the playful heart throb Wei Wuxian in “The Untamed” is so much more than what you see on screen. Yes, maybe you know he started out as an idol as part of C-Pop boy group X Nine, but what else do you want to know about him?
Xiao Zhan - Born on 5th October 1991 in Chongqing, China, he’s always been artistic and was pretty much raised to live his life in the creative entertainment industry. Even when he was a young kid, Xiao Zhan’s parents made sure he grew up interested in culture, signing him up for violin and painting classes when he was as young as 8 years old. Through his childhood and into his time at the Art Design Academy in Chongqing Tech and Business University, Xiao Zhan kept this interest with him. Fun fact: this may not come off as a surprise to you, but Xiao Zhan was known as Chongqing university’s cutest guy on the entire campus! With those natural born good looks? Of course. He was in a literary club and—surprise, surprise—choir group, where he represented his university multiple times and even won second place on a city-wide singing contest. As you might guess, that’s when Xiao Zhan’s dream to become a singer started to blossom.
