During the counteroffensive in the Kharkiv Region, the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated many settlements. After the general joy, horrific evidence of torture and abuse of Ukrainians by Russians began to emerge. Mass graves in Izium, torture chambers in Kupiansk and Kozacha Lopan are what the invaders left behind after more than six months of occupation. We visited the Kharkiv Region and talked to people who managed to survive their imprisonment by the Russians, with ordinary residents and a representative of the prosecutor's office.
