In case your Passport Applications showing from more than a Week " the Passport application under review at the regional passport office" Then file an online RTI to get fast reply and Process of Application.
RTI is the best method to get fast reply from RPO.

My name is --------------- and my file number is : ---------------------.
I have applied for fresh passport 2 months ago ( on 02/11/2018). I had an appointment for document verification on 6/11/2018 after that I had a police verification on 13/11/2018. from that time my passport Application status in passport portal is showing from 45 days, Police Verification Report for passport application is under review at the Regional Passport Office.
May I know what is the issue due to which my passport is delayed and when I will receive my passport. Awaiting for your reply.
