B.C. premier highlights skills training grant for post-secondary students – July 24, 2024

British Columbia Premier David Eby highlights a provincial program offering grants of up to $3,500 to post-secondary students for short-term skills training delivered by public post-secondary institutions. The program is now available for registration for the September 2024 fall semester. He is joined at the news conference in Coquitlam by Lisa Beare (B.C. minister of post-secondary education and future skills), Fin Donnelly (MLA for Coquitlam-Burke Mountain), Kathy Denton (president of Douglas College), and Sumit Makkar (a student studying at Douglas College).
