The Vivo X90 Pro Plus
The Vivo X90 Pro Plus is the first Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 smartphone to launch, packing some serious flagship specs. Sporting a different chipset from its siblings, the Vivo X90 Pro Plus should be one of the best camera phones of 2022 thanks to that 8 Gen 2, Vivo's updated ISP and the Sony IMX989 sensor. As well as the Pro Plus, Vivo also launched the regular X90 and an X90 Pro. These are two of the first smartphones packing Mediatek's Dimensity 9200, a big rival to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 that also offers hardware-enabled ray tracing for games. The Vivo X90 Pro upgrades the regular model's specs with a beefy telephoto lens and wireless charging.
The Vivo X90 Pro Plus and the rest of the family aren't the only phones to launch this week. The Honor Magic Vs also popped up in China, offering a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 style experience.
