In this video I'll teach you how to properly mend rips in jeans, pants and garments in general. This is the proper method to ensure you don’t rip the same area again! Once you learn this mending method, you can fix most holes that occur from wear and tear, and add many more years of wear to your garments.

If you’re starting to learn about sustainable fashion and how to curate a more mindful closet, a great step is to learn how to care for your clothing and make it last longer. You might be surprised to learn that most carbon emissions emitted from the fashion supply chain are from the end user (us!) as a result of caring for the garment - things like washing, drying and disposing of it at the end of its life. Prolonging the life of a garment therefore decreases the emissions required to create new garments, and also the disposal of it to landfill. In the words of Vivienne Westwood, ‘Buy less, choose well and make it last!’
