Following their ancient winter trails to high altitude feeding grounds of dry grasses and lean season sustenance are these Himalayan Blue Sheep or Bharal and Himalayan Ibex, moving around in a mixed herd, and bringing them close to human habitations too. They hunt out the little forage that the dry winter season affords them at a time that they need to retain the maximum body fat to be able to endure the harsh winters. See how close to human habitations they have come and yet they are comfortable doing so!
Is it not unusual to see Bharat or Blue Sheep and Himalayan Ibex mixing together, hanging around in the same flock and foraging as one group?
