Let’s face it -- language learning and achieving goals are *hard*.
Some of you might know me from a previous Youtube video I did on how I learnt some Japanese from scratch in 30 days. I made pretty good progress that time around, and I really wanted to keep up my studies (plus, a lot of you guys were asking for updates on my Japanese) -- but if I'm being honest, I lost motivation and stopped learning Japanese for a while.
In this video, I'll explain why this happened, and why I don't actually see the deterioration of my Japanese as a "failure" (despite the title of this video).
Whether you’re a fellow language learner disappointed with your lack of progress, or you’re someone who’s been unable to achieve certain goals you’ve set for yourself, let this video be a comfort to you and remind you that it’s alright not to hit your targets. Life is long, and we have our whole life time to strive for big things and learn all the languages we want :)
