We flew to the Dominican Republic for Dia de Leyendas! This was a weekend-long event honoring the legends in Dominican baseball history. This year it was dedicated to the Aguilas Cibaeñas of LIDOM and was held in Santiago, DR. Last year it was dedicated to Hall of Famer Alberts Pujols.

Day 1 was a Fan Fest at Estadio Cibao where I got to ZIP LINE over the stadium! We also got a tour of the trophy room and learned a lot about the history of the Aguilas. After Fan Fest, our driver Moises brought us to three different food spots to try Chicharron, Empanadas, and Pica Pollo, all popular Dominican foods. Chicharron was my favorite...

Day 2 featured a Home Run Derby and an All-Star game with current MLB Stars between Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic!! We got the most insane access of our lives, being able to chill in the clubhouse with all the players. The names at this event were INSANE! We interviewed Red Sox legend "Big Papi" David Ortiz, Pedro Martinez, Fernando Rodney, Junior Lake, Christopher Morel, Franmil Reyes, Carlos Gomez, Junior Caminero, Rafael Furcal, Miguel Batista, Robinson Cano, and former current and former MLB players.

We can't thank Erick Almonte enough for having us out to such an amazing event. We love the Dominican Republic and can't wait to come back here!

Baseball has a long history in the United States, but it also has strong roots in the Caribbean and Latin America, particularly in the Dominican Republic. The sport became deeply ingrained in Dominican culture and has evolved into a multi-million dollar industry. As Dominicans showed their skill and success as baseball players, the MLB started establishing academies in the Dominican Republic, which were affiliated with MLB teams in the United States. This system facilitated the influx of numerous talented Dominican players into MLB teams. Currently, Dominicans dominate Major League Baseball in the United States, making up more than 15 percent of all players in the league. A lot of young baseball players in the Dominican Republic come from poverty, but that doesn't stop them from grinding their butts off to make something of their baseball career.

Yankee Stadium? Dodger Stadium? Fenway Park? Wrigley Field? Where should we go next!!? LET US KNOW!! We want to interview Shohei Ohtani, Aaron Judge, Bryce Harper, Ronald Acuna Jr., Mookie Betts, and every famous baseball player you can think of soon so stay tuned!

If you liked this video please like and subscribe we would really appreciate it!! Hopefully fans of our biggest inspirations (Dodger Films, Zack Hample, Fuzzy, Giraffe Neck Marc, all the MLB the Show streamers, Jomboy Media, DSarm, Baseball Doesn't Exist) will enjoy this video too!!

Maybe we should take a swing at Diamond Dynasty and Battle Royale! Maybe we should open some baseball cards! Who knows what's next...
