Ever wondered what a boiler should include? You're not the only one. You'd be surprised by the amount of engineers and companies who don't actually do what a boiler service should include by just completing a gas safety check and calling it a boiler service when they haven't done everything that a boiler service should include.
In this video I show you what a boiler service include. The boiler in the video was installed by us and every year we've been coming back to service the boiler to make sure the boiler continues to run smoothly, but to also maintain its warrantee.
Now for us, we have different levels of boiler service which includes different tasks.
First of all we have a standard boiler service, which includes all the gas safety checks, but we'll recharge the expansion vessel, we'll clear the condensate trap, re-calibrate the gas valve and we'll the clear out the magnetic filter as well, if you have one installed. This boiler service is charged at £80 inc vat.
The next level of boiler service is our full strip down service, this boiler service includes all of the checks and tasks completed on our full strip down service. But with a full strip down service we include the removal of the burner, we then clean the heat exchanger and clean and adjust the spark electrodes. The full strip down service costs £120 inc vat.
