While I have not been able to see any information about a Continuity Camera fix in Ventura 13.3 and iOS 16.4, it does appear that some interaction between the two has been resolved so that systems without a built-in webcam, such as the millions and millions of Mac Mini M1 & M2 silicon systems, can now use qualified iPhones as a wireless webcam without having to first attach an external webcam.
Frankly, the requirement was stupid to be begin with and seemed to me to be a gross oversight on a product line that was wildly successful as has been the silicon-based Mac Minis. Well, watch me display the continuity camera in wireless mode, and work through a quirk that may arise when you use the camera.
