There are several types of pulmonary stenosis, which is a condition characterized by the narrowing of the pulmonary valve or the pulmonary artery. The types of pulmonary stenosis include:

1. Valvular Pulmonary Stenosis: This is the most common type, where the pulmonary valve is narrowed or thickened, causing restricted blood flow from the right ventricle to the pulmonary artery.

2. Subvalvular Pulmonary Stenosis: In this type, the narrowing occurs below the pulmonary valve, typically in the area of the right ventricular outflow tract.

3. Supravalvular Pulmonary Stenosis: This type involves a narrowing of the pulmonary artery above the level of the pulmonary valve. It can be caused by abnormal development or thickening of the artery wall.

4. Branch Pulmonary Artery Stenosis: This type refers to the narrowing of one or both of the main branches of the pulmonary artery, which can occur at different levels.
