Ulf Kristersson, Swedish Prime Minister, presents the priorities of Sweden’s EU Council Presidency

During the plenary session in Strasbourg, members of the Parliament will discuss with Prime Minister Kristersson about Sweden’s six-month Presidency of the Council, which started on 1 January.

The four priorities of the Swedish Presidency are:
- security
- competitiveness
- green and energy transitions
- democratic values and the rule of law.
