Scamming An Online Customer

The plaintiff says he bought a grand’s worth of gift cards online from the defendant, but they turned out to be phonies purchased with a stolen credit card. He’s suing for his money back. The defendant says the plaintiff has the wrong guy and insists he never sold the plaintiff anything.
