New system on Bukit Panjang LRT line to tackle track intrusions faster

The Bukit Panjang LRT network has rolled out new cameras with AI functions across all 13 stations to tackle track incidents much faster. The latest SMRT feature is an added layer of protection at these stops, which are unmanned. There will be similar safety elements on other LRT lines soon. CNA's Claudia Lim reports.
