An update on the Ridgeway Bracket Mantle Clock…

This is a video I was hoping I would not have to make but recently, the mainspring on the Ridgeway clock busted and the clock completely stopped working. (It just pulled an HAC lol.) The clock ran for a good 3.5 years and it’s life came to an end last week.
I had to get a whole new movement for this clock to replace it and let me tell you, getting the new movement in was super hard! (Even harder than the Seth Thomas Tambour replacement.) The main issue was that the dial was mounted too high up for me to reach the winding arbors. I simply took the dial off and moved it slightly so I could reach the arbors. After doing all that, the new movement is in and the clock is back up and running! I am glad I was able to get this clock back up and running as this is too nice of a clock to get rid of.
