Pulau Payar or Payar Island
Pulau Payar or Payar Island is one of popular snorkeling destination for those visiting Langkawi island. Both Pulau Payar and Pulau Langkawi situated in northern side of Malaysia, Kedah. The only way to come to Payar Island is by water transportation. Pulau Payar also gazetted as one of national marine park in Langkawi, Malaysia. If you go to Pulau Payar, 2 packages to choose form;
1. Platform based
2. Beach side
Platform based are more convenient compared to beach side since it offer better lunch option, designated spot to keep your belonging, toilets, limited number of visitors at one time, underwater deck for fish observation and glass boat to explore beautiful corals. The only downside of platform package is you may not be able to see baby shark. Baby sharks can be found at the edge of the beach.
I will be visiting Payar Island again after covid19 settle down to experience the Beach side package.
